Covid-19

my landlord is more scary than coronavirus ...is it just me or someone here is suffering financially from this covid-19 too ?

Everyone will suffer financially from the economic aftermath of the Corona crisis.
But what does yor landlord have to do with it?

Hey, hey, hey, not all landlords are bad and scary....

In fact, I called one of my tenants to tell him to take his time on the rent.  I know he and his wife are both off work due to the mandatory quarantining.  And I am not doing this because of some extension offer from my mortgage company (none has been offered to me at least to date) and property tax bills are still due in about 2 weeks, come rain or shine....

I prefer the term owners instead of landlords.  Owners often do a lot behind the scenes.  Not all are just sitting around sipping pina coladas....

Your tenants are lucky ..mine has no chill ..I'm in a forced leave no work no pay due to covid.. just finished giving him my remaining balance for month of March ,then he reminded me to pay early for this coming month ..it's very frustrating when u have to think which one is to prioritize first Your rent or your food ..

I'm sorry if the term “landlord” offends you just that's what we are used to call them here so we won't mixed it up with the real owners ..

Have a good and healthy day 🙂

Don't mistake humor in tragedy as disrespect. It is how people let go of stress.

I'm lucky to be able to save a little to tide me off for the next months which would be unpredictable. But the economy will surely be affected and prices might soar... just mentally preparing for the worst.
