And I'd like to know if I need to get a Moroccan license as a UK driving license holder?

I heard that Moroccan residents need a Moroccan license after one year.

No UK is not in the exchange program.
You are right. After a year one has to have a Moroccan Drivers License.

I just tried with my US license and have been informed I have to go to driving school here and be tested to get a Moroccan license.
