British and French family new to Riyadh August 2018

Hello everyone!

My name is Charlotte and I am arriving with my partner and two children in Riyadh in August. Where to start...?!?

I am British, my partner is French and the two children are French/American and aged 8 and 11. Currently, we live in Hong Kong.

The children will be attending the American International School or Riyadh and we will both be working at another school nearby. Most importantly, I would love to know if there are any summer camps for international children in August? Any advice gratefully received.

We have our accommodation sorted so no worries there.

We really enjoy yoga, fitness, healthy eating, reading, puzzles/games, travelling. Can anyone recommend a yoga studio/classes? Or, Pilates? When we visited, we noticed there were lots of gyms around which was great! What a tout recommendations on activities with/for kids? Any restaurant recommendations?!?

We are looking to meet other couples/families for socialising and leisure activities. Send me a message to introduce yourselves if you think you think you could help or we have things in common! :)

Welcome to the KSA :)

We are delighted to hsve you among us here i Saudi Arabia... Transition to another country might not be eady, but once you get used to it, Saudi Arabia will be the best experience ever.

It is a great question. I also have a similar concern.

I worked in USA, Singapore earlier for 10+ yrs. I have a daughter who went to school in Singapore.
Would like to know if any good English Medium Schools with International Syllabus present in Riyadh and what will be the fees, donations etc.

I am currently evaluating a contract-to-hire opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Thanks & Regards
