Just the usual Island issues, Really get to understand ferries and ferry schedules and limitations. That is your life line. In a major storm it is cut off, so be aware of that, also and plan for it. Supplies are often more expensive because of the ferry issue. Water , trash, and sewer systems can be an issue also. Look around and ask questions while visiting.
