Telcel Phone Charger

Sorry - I don't see this addressed here yet. Please help to find the answer.
We have a small Telcel phone, DOPPIO model. The phone works just fine for our farming business - gets signal even though it's difficult at times with other phones. But we have had to purchase chargers often. They only last about a month.
Could it be electricity in our house?  The charger and phone we use from the US has not had this problem. My husband suspects the electricity, as it seems to ruin his DVD players.
This is a mystery to me. Ideas? Thank you.
Gail

Sounds like you need a good surge protector. You can get one at the nearest Home Depot or electronics store.

Hi, I think the suggestion above is good...but even better would be a voltage regulator with surge protection.

Not expensive, good mexican company Koblenz could be found on Amazon.com.mx, Elektra.com, Coppel.com and other mexican stores.

Adios y buen dia a todos, GyC.
