Hi, I'm really confused on payable tax for shipping a 2017 chevy camaro 2ss v8 in the philippines. I'm aware of the 40% customs duy, 12%Vat, and ad valorem tax which is the most confusing. Can someone help me calculate this please? Are we going to use the purchased value of the car for all the taxes??

Don't do it. They will seize it and hold it hostage to get as much ransom money as they can.

I hav friends and relatives who work in th shipping companies that works hand in hand with the customs. They wont do that to me. Lol. I'm sorry if they didit to you.
