Exactly.  A post on a forum from an anonymous stranger asking to be friends with many spelling and grammatical mistakes should really make you think twice before responding

Unfortunately, it is a common occurrence in this part of the world when a single post from a woman (or a female sounding name), on whichever topic, results in many requests of friendship, meetings and so on.   Desperation central indeed
