Hi Friends,

I have express for 3 weeks(21 days) and it is going to expire in 5 days but still i have project here, My employer is going to get extension for one week by paying fine, My question is it going to problem for getting any other countries Visas in future with the fine stamping in the passport?. is it acceptable to go extension for one week.

Please suggest me, thanks in advance.

Hi Prasad,
I just went through a similar situation. The fourth week extension is a normal process, and you don't get blacklisted. It does not even mention anything on your passport other than a small stamp with the extension date of your visa. Even after the 4th week, you can stay as long as you pay a 10 OMR fine for everyday of overstay when you exit the country.
