Birth Certificate mother's name spelling problem

Hi, I'm planning to move to Germany. I have my Birth Certificate, my mother's name written there "Teresa", she don't have record of Certificate of livebirth at the office of Registration. Her name on Marriage contract written "Theresa" they admit it was wrong spelling. My mother used marriage contract for her Birth Certificate, then she use Theresa instead of Teresa.

Should I follow what's on my Birth Certificate?
Is there a problem with it?

German buerocrats can be pretty sticky with this kind of detail.
Thus you are well advised to bring along written proof (best by the issuing authority itself) that there is a mistyping in the birth certificate - or, even better, get a new one without this mistake issued before you come. Since they already admit that they made a mistake, this should be no big deal.
