I'm driving to Malta in the near future to live selling my house in the UK, but I m having insurance problems,my uk insurance say they can not covet me as I don't reside in the UK
Malta insurance won't insure me untill I arrive. Any help & advice please.

But aren't you still in the UK? If you are still there , your UK insurer should not have issues with insuring (renewing?) before you leave. I just extended my Irish one to cover EU for 30 days which was more than enough for our trip & then I let it lapse at renewal

Apparently not,was told once you leave & sell up in the UK your reporting your car & at not covered your only covered of your returning to the UK. Ray had the best solution
