Adapting to the climate in Russia

Hello everyone,

Adjusting to new climatic conditions is key in any expatriation process. Moving to Russia is no exception.

What are the climate characteristics of Russia?

How does the local weather impact your daily life, mood or health?

What are the pros and cons of the climate in Russia?

Share you advice and help people adapt quickly to their new weather environment.

Thanks in advance,

There is nothing extraordinary in Russian weather. In summer average temperature is 30C. Last 2 winters in Moscow were very warm unlike the image of severe Russian winters. In Far East of Russia there was a lot of snow. A lot.
And like everywhere it's good when weather changes quickly: 2 days of rain, 2 days of heat. But when it's a week of rain of course it's depressive.
