Dear Bloggers

So here is my situation...Basically my contract ran out Sept 1st 2015, Visa ran out Sept 24th 2015...and i was refused a payrise due to lack of company finances. I am looking to set up with another sponsor, however my current employer has decided to not issue me an NOC. I have heard from different people that due to my status i won't necessarily require an NOC. It seems like a very grey area...what is the official verdict??

Hi Migsy80,

So does it mean that since the 24th of September, 2015 you are staying in the Sultanate without a valid employment visa ?

Answering you query, unless you can furnish an official NOC from your last employer, you will not be allowed re-entry, once you exit (after settling the dues and fines, of course).

I am not sure about what 'status' you are referring to.
