Dears,

I am a young lawyer qualified in East Africa, with 2.5 years of experience in aviation industry. i am offered job in Kuwait and my visa process has just began there. I am also asked my salary expectation. (1)I just don't know how much to ask (2) and would also be great to know how long the visa process might take. thanks.

Hi,
Before you discuss your salary, you should ask about the following things:
1- Accommodation (will they provide you house or flat to stay, what is the condition of the house or they will give you house allowance, if they will give you allowance then minimum should be KD 150.
2- Transportation, if it provided then no issue, if not allowance should be KD 80
3- Ask if they give bonus or not and ask what other benefits they offer.
Make sure your salary not less than KD 500 + plus above benefits

You should ask house allowance at-least KD 350. You will not able to find a house within KD-320-350 KD (2bhk) range.
Don't forget to ask free medical insurance you and your family, travel allowance to your native country once a year or two years
