This list is pretty robust, but I had the same issues when looking for housing before we came over. I was also informed that some don't advertise for security reasons... Best of luck!

Hi can anyone tell me whether Green City Compound is actually open, have been trying to find out whether they have any vacancies, as with every compound, but I get no answers.
Can anybody give any help as to which western (preferably secure) compounds may actually have space.

Good luck, you would think that some enterprising people would be working their butts off to provide compound accommodations in a market where they are so desperately needed.

No one's laughing matey, we're all in the same boat...maybe we can do a time share in each other's hotels? 
So it may be a great idea to sublet on a short term basis during vacation time for those on the long and winding waiting lists?
