Hi, I recently moved to Fajardo and would like to start working again, however english speaking jobs seem non existent in this area. Does anyone have any recommendations? I am taking spanish lessons but it doesn't seem to be helping me much. I would also love to volunteer, maybe teaching english but once again the language barrier is in the way. Any advice would be appreciated.

The only obvious advice would be to learn Spanish ASAP. As you found out, without mastering the language there's not a lot you can do..

I would suggest the tourism industry. PR is not a touristic driven economy, anyway you may find some modest opportunities there, without speaking spanish. Good luck!!!
