Please share your experiences (Good or Bad) regarding immigration office in the UAE. How is the treatment from the immigration center when you want to extend your visa, apply for residency and things like that.

My Experience is very good in this regard.
Their dealing is good if u have all the required documents with u 
if u want to visit Immigration office i would recommend u to visit Dubai Municipality AL Manara Centre, which is rite next to Noor Islamic Bank Metro Station on Sheikh Zaid Road.
to avoid rush, do visit between 8-10 am or 4-7 pm
