Don't have an answer, but I'm in a similar situation - except I'm American. Much of what I'm about to say is unconfirmed, so heed warning.
I read that wire transfers are the most "common" way to transfer money, but documentation on your income is required as part of the transfer. I was also considering opening an account with an international bank like HSBC, then transferring between the accounts when you're home. My coworker said you need a high balance (+10k USD) to get an account, though.
I have Huaxia and my bank at home is a credit union. Anyone with better info please chime in!
