Making new friends in dubai ....

hey,
ive been in dubai just over a year now and alot of my close friends are moving on, so it seems its time to get out there again.
Does anyone have any advice on how to make genuine friends out here? ...strange question i know!lol

True!! the good friends we gain in Dubai unfortunately always go, and ppl keep changing locations & we end up with no real friends, it is Dubai i don't know how but that what happens & certainly there is no way just hope to be lucky & accidentally u meet good ppl
for me I think it is a good idea to interact with activity of ur interest where u will be joining a team & will meet up during the week & explore for other activities together so that u can me up who can be ur friends! ex: am a fun of salsa, I joined a group & where ever they organize the dance somewhere thet let us all know
