Hi everyone!
I have just been offered a job in Ethiopia but it is not in Addis. It's in Metehara.
Does anyone know about this place and if there is a thriving expat community out there? I cannot seem to find anything on the internet - and if there is information; it is very little and not as good as this forum provides.
I welcome any viewpoints on the country and the town as this will be a big move.

hey katy, i know metehara, it is on the main road from addis to djibouti and it is famous for sugar factory and other big agriculture farms like mango. it is little bit hot weather and the ppls are friendly.
