Hi,
Im planning to start a business in Matara with a Sri Lankan associate. He need to produce "Police criminal record", a statement from Police saying if he have or not any criminal records in his file.
If somebody can tell me what are the diligence to be done and how long it will take to get that report. Also if there are some fees requested.

typical senario it takes around 3 months , I am sorry i dont remember the fee

Not much time period. If you can provide it from your country police station, then you can provide it to Sri Lankan Police and you can get the police report from here. Let me check about that and i will inform you about it with few time..
