What are the formalities and paperwork required to bring your pet in Myanmar?

How long do formalities & paperwork usually take in Myanmar?

What are the relevant authorities to contact?

Which vaccines are compulsory? Do your pets have to go in quarantine at their arrival in Myanmar?

Which advice would you give to the ones who would like to move with a dog, a cat or any other pet?

Hi there!

Bringing your pet to here is not much formalities here. Only thing is on the plane. Related department is Health Department. You can not expert to have vacuum what you want here. SO that you should bring by yourself for the pet usually takes. Food is OK here but your pet takes special do bring yourself.

But if something happens or emergency things you can get what you want from Bangkok.

I am moving to Yangon soon with my cat pet along with my children. He's already vaccinated and so, do I need to present any documents to prove it? For example, a letter from the veterinarian? And, is it possible that my cat needs to take special vaccinations for diseases it can catch in Yangon? If so, please suggest them. I really don't need any paperwork to bring him, right?
