Secondary report to: Operations Director

1. Required Skills
• Min. 3-4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computers including Ms Office, Excel, employee/staff payroll, and food inventory systems
• Management of food production
• Customer relations management
• Safety and security management
• Sanitation management
• Maintenance of building and equipment

2. Required Qualifications
• A degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts or related fields
• Culinary or Hospitality certification
• Previous experience in food and beverages services, operations and supervision of employees
• Experience in operations including accounting, bookkeeping, budgeting and warehouse stockroom procedures

• Coordinating daily restaurant management operations

5. Key Responsibilities
• Supervises all restaurant activities and ensure compliance to all company standard
• Prepares weekly, monthly and/or yearly reports within timeframe
• Administers and evaluate all restaurant staff, provide training for the staff’s skill and knowledge development
• Maintains optimal level of sanitary procedures on food handling, cleanliness of floor and kitchen area, and ensure optimal quality of all food preparation
• Prepares estimation of all food and beverages costs and coordinate with Director(s) when necessary
• Maintains optimal level of inventory for day to day operations
• Ensures controls are in place to safeguard inventory controls
• Creates inventory and budget plan
• Hires, schedules, supervises, trains and coordinates the work of personnel
• Manages finances such as budget, payroll and purchasing
• Develops initiatives to build sales, profitability and guest counts
• Responsible for the physical/aesthetic maintenance of the restaurant, cafe and conference spaces
• Manages F&B budgets and costs
• Orders, maintains and inventories beer, wine and liquor
• Develops operational procedures for unit
• Maintains and implements standards of quality in all food and beverage service operations
• Carries out supervisory responsibility following policies and procedures
• Ensures that the restaurant operates efficiently and effectively within the operational guidelines
• Ensures adherence to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
• Ensures all safety and security systems and procedures are followed to ensure health and safety of employees and guests
• Ensures established standards of food safety and sanitation are maintained
• Oversees correct receipt, storage and handling of food and beverage products to ensure quality and freshness at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned
