Covid politics in Madagascar?

What is the government's policy on Covid in M?

Is it more relaxed than Europe?

Facediapers mandatory?

No one in the office?

De facto curfews?

Depending on answers I  might relocate.

Cheers

The first doses of Covishield arrive on May 7th
Monday May 3 | Mandimbisoa R.
The first batches of vaccines against Covid-19 will arrive in Madagascar on May 7. This is what the Malagasy authorities announced during a Sunday television broadcast during which the President of the Republic and some members of the government took stock of the situation in the country.

The Covishield vaccine, the Indian version of AstraZeneca will arrive in the country first. But concern is already at its height for some citizens because of the resurgence of the Covid-19 epidemic in India currently due to a double variant of the epidemic. The effectiveness of this vaccine is thus giving rise to current debates in the health field.

For Madagascar, four vaccines were selected and therefore authorized in the country. These are the Covishied, the Indian version of AstraZeneca, the PFIZER which is the result of a collaboration between the American laboratory Pfizer and the German BioNtech, the Sinopharm, a Chinese vaccine and the Jonhson & Johnson of the American pharmaceutical giant. The Malagasy authorities specify that vaccination is free, voluntary and not forced.
