hi everyone,
im brazilian living legaly in malta since marsh 2019 , my wife is from morocco , i wanted to bring her here to live with me so i applied for reunification family last september (6 months ago) .
i wanted to ask how much time the process take ? and why id malta doesnt respond me till now

Identity Malta are renowned for not replying and not doing things quickly. Even UK citizens who applied for their new Residence cards because of Brexit have been waiting for anything up to 12 months!
Other than going to their offices you are unlikely to get a response from them.

thank you so much , but due to corona u cant go to them without appointment  , we are sending to them email but the same answer all time

Why not make an appointment?

but they didnt accept every time they answer tht our process still in progression and the family reunification takes  around 8-9 months to be included

That is the way it is, we have lived here for 8 years and have just reapplied for our 10 year ID/Residence card and have been waiting 6 months and people we know have been waiting si ce March last year.

Family reunification policy changed, you might want to have a look at the link below to see if you qualify,

The immigration policy sucks in Malta. Only place on the planet where family is separated by law for atleast one year.
If they need to attract foreign investment and top talent then they need to reflect and fix things.

These regulations are an additional way for family reunification for those who do not qualify under the existing family reunification regulations!
As far as I am aware they are intended to be for those who would not normally qualify at all.
