Dear all,
I have moved to Milan last year for work.
I am pregnant with my first child and speak very little italian.
Has anyone experience with giving birth in Milan, good hospitals etc. I have had one GYN visit so far al la casa di Cura  La Madonnina.
Any other ladies here that might share rheir experiences?
Many thanks
Eli

Hi, I currently live in Milan. I gave birth to my first child few months ago. I have been followed by dr. Fabietti at Mangiagalli, which I would dare to say it's the most famous hospital in Milan. The experience has NOT been completely positive. Nothing to say about checks and appointments, they are quite efficient. But they are less caring regarding your psychological needs, such as being reassured during contractions or right after the birth. Also, they are quite severe with Covid restrictions about letting fathers being next to you. All in all, I would NOT go back there, even though the birth itself was handled perfectly.
If you'd like to chat more, find me on FB: ***. Cheers!
