Salary for local contract in China - in a haze

Hi everyone, happy to meet you all!

Might I raise a hand for help?

I was wondering if anyone got an idea on how you should be paid in China before you settled in. We all know the standard back in our own countries.

I'm actually in negotiation for a position in China and I don't get it. I only find answers for teaching, but what about other positions? If some of you could provide me an information on this matter, it would help a lot and would be appreciate!

Do you have a website with salaries range in China per job? Would help me to get an idea for my job.

I think that all depends on a lot. What kind of background and education you got, what kind of experience, wether you are searching for a job in finance, Procurement, teaching, pilot, doctor. There is no general salary. Is it at a local chinese company with a chinese contract, or as an expat at a western company with dependecies in China? And also in which city in China, Tier1 or Tier2 ....Tier3.You have to consider a lot.
