I have recently took early retirement and am looking for work in the UAE. I believe the age limit for getting a work permit is 60.
I'm now 65. Can I get a permit to work in IT.

Depends on the nature of your work, experience and seniority of your position in the company. It is case to case, depends on the efforts of your sponsor and if issued, it will be annual permit i.e. not the 3 year one that is given to normal employees.
