I need to know how or where I apply for Traveler's insurance for 3 months once I am in France. Apparently this is a requirement for my Long-Stay Visa approval when I have my appointment in Atlanta on March 8th.

Also, I have excellent credit, and was wondering if opening a credit card would grant me "financial stability" when applying for my visa. (Of course I'll still supply bank statements).

If I could have some help and advice, it would be greatly appreciated!
