We laymen Expats on this forum would only be guessing at an answer to your question, especially since we have no idea whether the 'vessel' in question is a glorified rowboat or a 45-foot craft.  Nor whether this is a boat of recent vintage or from 1965.

Step 1.  Get together the facts on the boat, including the year(s) of manufacture and most-recent purchase .. size data .. and ownership documents.

2.  Have an idea how you would get the boat to Ecuador.

Since Ecuador doesn't even allow Expats to import cars except possibly for the current model-year, the first thing you want to know is .. will Ecuador allow me to bring in my boat for permanent import?
