In my experience if you are friendly then it is reciprocated wherever you go...I am here in Sarnico about 1 hour from Milan...I have to say I find Milan very beautiful!! And people here are generally very acceptable to us foreigners!! Even if we speak Italian as badly as I do!, good luck with your search 👍👍👍
