Today, Congressman George Holding (NC-R) introduced the Tax Fairness for Americans Abroad Act -H.R. 7358: legislation that would end citizenship-based taxation and implement Territorial Taxation for overseas Americans.

Introduced the bill, then went home for Christmas. With the Democrats having a majority in the House in January and 60 votes needed in the Senate, I have great doubts anything benefiting international citizens will stand a chance. On the other hand, it is a good idea.

I think this bill is as good idea. I would hope that it get attention and passes.
However, the American congress does not really represent the people. I think most get elected and do what they want and come out of office quite rich. If all people were represented then our government would be working together to solve current problems. Currently, most act like bratty children.
