Yurt or tent on private land

I'm looking for somewhere to buy in the Algarve and need to take the following into account. I'd like to have a Yurt (or two) on my land for guests. There'd be no fires/flames allowed as use of house facilities would be available. Does anyone know if this would be ok or would I encounter problems with authorities? The property I'm thinking of is very private and in the hills. Thanks for your input.

I think you will be fine with having a tent or yurt. It is when you rent it out for profit or someone lives in it full time, then it becomes something that the authorities will have an interest and legalities are involved.

We live in the Monchique mountains with 10 acres of land and have temporary movable accommodation for friends and family and woofers.

Best wishes
