What side of the road do you drive and how dangerous is it , I done driving in Thailand and it was horrendous.

Right side. It will be super dangerous for you if you are used to drive in UK with strict rules and disciplined drivers. Traffic is also much better in Thailand than here in the Philippines.

I totally agree with the above comment. In Manila, cars move on the highways similar to boats rowing down a fast moving river. There are no lanes! In addition to this, there are motorcycles and tricycles constantly weaving among the cars. If you want to drive here, maybe stick to county roads..
