Hi all,
My fiance and I are looking to move to CR, but would like to be around other expats and in walking distance to shops, restaurants and not far from the beach. Looking for drier weather on the Pacific side. Any suggestions??

Welcome to Expat.com!
It's a small country. I would suggest renting a car and just drive. There are very inexpensive hotels and cabins everywhere you go. You should explore the coast and find what works best for "you."
Right along the coast can be very hot, although you may like that. You can go just a few kilometers inland and find cooler weather. Just explore and find your perfect spot.
