For anyone interested in learning malay, the University of Malaya created an online free course Introduction to Malay Language you can access from the platform FutureLearn
The course starts on 14 August

Future learn is clearly a reputable company with backing from a lot of big names, those including Cambridge uni.
That said, they are a commercial enterprise so you have to pay for extras such as examinations and certificates.

The course is free, if you want a certificate you have to pay for it when you finish it, but that's optional

They also offer a lot of other very nice online stuff, that including a lot of TESL stuff that many are likely to find interesting and won't hurt the chances of finding work for a lot of expats.
