Hi, there's thousands of expatriate Filipinos in Riyadh!  Probably the largest percentage of expats??  You should easily be able to meet people .. many, many nurses, etc.

There used to be an era when the Irish dominated the nurisng profession here in Riyadh. Now the jobs been taken over by the Fillies from Manila and Malayalees from Kerala

There is a very large expat Filopino community and I am sure you will find many friends in your place of work which would enable you to have great friendships.
