I will relocate to Costa Rica later. The cost in Chile is higher than in Costa Rica.

Sadly Chile is one of the most expensive countries in the region, specially in Santiago. Buut, if you look carefully and you know where to go you can save a lot of money (it won't be as cheap as Peru, or other places, but still).
