Hello,
I just received my monthly bill from my landlord and I would like to know if the rates are correct for the Electricity and Water. I am located in Toul Kok, Phnom Penh.

Electricity: 1000 r/kWh for 237 Consumption
Water: 1,200 r/m3 for 9 Consumption

Also, a 10% has been added to each of the total quantities... Is this a government tax?

Please verify.

Have no idea , however i pay in PP 1500/. For water and 1200 / for ELECT. , NO 10 %. I suppose they have included 10% in my per /. And i am closer to riverfront ..noredom+184

1000 R/KwH (0.25 USD) for electricity is standard for foreigners. Normally it is a lot cheaper but I dont know any barangs that get the local rate. I pay 0.25 USD per KwH myself.
Water costs me about $2-$3 a month I think. Don't know what the going rate for 1m3 is.
10% extra? Government tax..!? Sounds more like a landlord rip-off...
