Moved to Dar Es Salaam from India

Dear All

I and my husband have just moved to Dar Es Salaam, from India. My husband is working in one of the telecommunications company here. Its been a week and we have been putting up in a hotel. We have finalized the apartment where we would be staying. But still there have been tonnes of questions as setting up a new house in a foreign land is not easy.

I would really be keen on to know the following things:

1. Which are the places or malls or shops where we can buy the household stuff like kitchen ware / linens / clothing etc etc. It has to be quality and definitely not sky rocking prices.

2. Which are the indian restaurants 100 % vegetarian if any in town side area.

3. Any good parlours to visit.

4. Also I am an MBA who would be keen on to work part time or full time in Dar. Any vacancies in marketing do let me know. I have an exp of 5+ yrs with 3 yrs in Airtel in India.
