Recommendation for Hindi teacher

Hello Everyone

I'm from Austria and a student of Hindi. I've been learning Hindi in Delhi and really like my classes. I realised there might be other people in a similar situation looking for Hindi classses or simply advice on the language. My teacher recently created this facebook page that shares tips about Hindi and about India/Indian culture in general.
facebook.com/hindiwallah.
You can join the page and contact him for lessons or ask any questions that you might have.

Hope it helps all people here learning Hindi.

M.

Hello Peacock.

Welcome to Expat.com! :)

I invite you to recommend your Hindi teacher into the New Delhi Business directory.

Thank you,
Aurélie

Thanks Aurélie, I'm travelling so I'll do that as soon as I have some free time. :)

I recommend the online resources http://taj.chass.ncsu.edu/ to learn the written language, and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindi-Urdu_grammar. To increase your vocabulary, I am sure that there are adequate online Hindi dictionaries, but I suggest the CD-ROMs from http://www.rosettastone.com/learn-hindi. A good phrasebook, such as that from Rough Guide is also very helpful.
Regardless, listening to (and watching) Hindi films is a good way to achieve the correct pronunciation.
