Hi all,

Can a foreigner take the driving test in Sierra Leone?

What are the formalities to get a driver’s licence in Sierra Leone?

Do you need special or extra documents being an expatriate?

How much does it cost?

Thank you for participating ;).

Hi Armand,
Yes ofcourse! A foreigner can get a SL driving license , you may be required to visit any of the driving school here inorder to have a driving test before your license will be issued but if you visit Sierra Leone with your country of origin's driving license you may present it to the SLRA through an insider who will assist you to get that of Sierra Leone but you will be required to pay extra fee .
Contact me for more explanation.
Thanks.

Hi,
I am concerned about your queries. Please note that the laws of a state apply to foreign nationals living in that state at a given time.
Obtaining a driving license in Sierra Leone may depend on the purpose of your visit and the duration of your stay. All, however, could be subject to approval by the necessary immigration laws.
Regards.
