Moving to KL ,Malaysia with my family ( 1 toddler) ,need help

Hi,
Soon we r gonna move to KL from chennai for a project, may be this last week of JAn. So, I would like to know some place safe for accommodation where at least some markets ,hospitals like mandatory essentials available nearby. Also let me know how much does it gonna cost me. Also let me know some kindergarten schools nearby and how much that will take for us to pay. In general, I want to know the basic things one should know when coming to KL, Malaysia.
** We r coming there for my H's project , I don't think I've a work visa. Is there any way / rules to apply working visa for me as well ? Need help guys
*** My question is how to apply working visa for me (B.E. holders ?)

dont know if you allowed to work without a working visa,,
since u working ,,i wud suggest you look for accomodation very near to your working place,,
essentials and markets are almost everywhere ,,,so u shudnt have a problem unless u stay outside kl
