Reforestation Visa

Post new topic

vikaa_

Hi,

I've been googling a lot and I've seen the "Reforestation Visa" come up over and over again for immigration options to Panama.

Can anyone tell me if this is legit? Because it looks like all info comes from lawyer websites and nothing seems official?

Basically, is there any way to get permanent residency to Panama by paying less than $200.000 for the Friendly Nations Visa?

Thanks!

@vikaa_ Hi VIkaa, my son didn´t have enough money to apply for the visa as investor and he did it through a work contract in Panama in 2022. Now he has his permanent residence card and had to pay only $15k. I can give you the contact of the attorney, he used. agroupc.com/friendlynationsvisainpanama

@vikaa_ It is legit but there are some considerations like having enough land and reforest a part of it that cannot be cut down for some years (like 25) and it must be done with local species too.

This is aimed to be used by investors because this special visa and reforestation project will help you in tax declaration so you could be setting a company here, reforest and not pay taxes or pay too little.

I wouldn't be able to apply because the extension of land required and money to get it are out of bounds for me.
