Carpool to surf spot?
Hello, I just moved to Kyoto from Tokyo.
From Tokyo I surfed in Onjuku a lot.
I have spent a lot of time researching surf spots from my new home, but I am having a hard time finding a spot that meets all these requirements:
-has a place to stay
-has decent waves
-is under 4 hours by train
So I've resorted to asking you awesome lot - are there any people/groups that drive to any of the okay surf spots periodically? Would you be willing to do a little carpooling if so? Happy to split costs on gas, places to stay, etc. thanks!
