Visa - in and out of the Bahamas

I am curious as to what will happen if you stay in the Bahamas for about 3 months. Then travel to Florida. Upon returning to Bahamas, would you be able to start a new period of 3 months… I have a nationality allowing me to stay in the Bahmas without a visa for 3 months.
