Hello, I'm married, a lovely wife, and a wonderful daughter (this is my family, and again I'm minimizing!) I have already had the experience of expatriation (in Ireland), and I had to return temporarily to France for family reasons. Brief. I always had the wish to one day immigrate to Canada (for example to Manitoba). We are starting the process this week (76 points out of 100, where 60 would be enough for the online selection, that gives us a chance, I hope!). We would be delighted to get in touch with French people from Winnipeg or the surrounding area. In desperation (impossible to get the slightest interview via Skype or to have the slightest beginning of an answer, neither me nor my wife - although very qualified and "scoring maximum points" on this subject -), we are going to return to the British Isles. In Wales this time, from the beginning of 2015. ------------------- CHANGE in sight since 09/12/2013 My family is still great but our trajectory could well be further down, well south of Canada, in Florida. An H1-B visa is available, I'm not sure it can be refused. we had never thought of living there, but we inquired, and the more we inquired, the more it seemed...very very livable! To be continued?
