I live in Luzern with my husband who has a job. I'm not working yet, as soon as we say that we're French and that we don't speak German very well, all doors close.... especially since the German spoken here is not the same as that which is taught!
I have a master's degree in French literature, in Reunion I worked for 3 years as an assistant librarian... No chance of occupying the same position in Switzerland, there are no permanent contracts in high schools.
.... I have not yet found a positive point
-when we ask people to speak normal German to be able to understand, 99% refuse,
-the cost of living is excessively expensive,
-individualism and the race for big salaries,
-the look of certain people in the street because of course I'm not a platinum-aspirin blonde with blue eyes,
well, to make it short: the varnish that covers so many things....

It’s my island, obviously I like almost everything!
the culture, the mix, the very different landscapes, the open mind, the Creole, the family values, the music.....
-the lack of confidence of business leaders towards young graduates,
-the bad image that certain media like to circulate about Reunion,
- the pollution and the expatriates who complain about the Reunionese when they are not even trying to integrate......
- tourism management of the island...
