I have lived in NY since 2008. My husband was transferred by his company, I don't work and therefore I don't know ANY company that could possibly hire you and give you a visa or GC or internship. I don't know of any good cheap accommodation plans because I've never been to a hotel or anything else and I don't host anyone at my house. So I can't find a job for you and house you.
