I was 10 and 11 years old, my father was a captain at Air Zaire, we had the chance to visit what is now the DRC, Kivu, Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, Cameroon, Chad and so on. After living in Kin', we continued to go there until 78 because my father worked there. My mother wanted me to continue school in France. After their divorce, my mother and I went to Senegal, etc., well, years ago I fell in love with this continent. I took my now-husband to Madagascar not long ago. This is the relationship of this continent with my life.
I have always taught in France: from 1982 to 1988, professor. of accounting, international trade and economics. In the United States, from 1988 to now: prof. of French, with specialized courses in Business French and Contemporary Literature.
Teaching is in my skin, I get excited about many things and when I think they are positive and can bring something to others, then I like to share them; for example: French is a very good thing to share, to teach.
When my school, "A l'Ecole Française" was born, 22 years ago in October of this year 2016, I already had a base of 80 students who followed me from various language schools where I worked. To survive, you must never rest on your laurels, which means you have to prospect, and I don't like that at all.

I lived there intermittently due to the period in Africa and one year around Lyon. As for Bordeaux, we moved there often before I became independent from my mother because she lived in houses that she renovated to earn a living and, therefore, quite a few moves. I love Bordeaux! I took my American students there twice and they really liked it. I will continue to take Americans there for their pleasure and mine.
It's my identity. I was born for this, I'm sure of it.
I like people and I like to give them something, when I hear "Ah! I learned something!", then... I'm happy.
I hate marketing, but it's necessary; so I do it...
