A retired career soldier since 2013, I settled in Portugal, my mother's country, after leaving the service. Originally from Paris, I don't regret the French capital at all because, living half an hour from the center of Lisbon, I can combine here the advantages of the countryside, the sea and a European capital. I kept a small studio in Paris to come back to when the "saudade" (nostalgia) takes me (very rarely in fact...).
